We’re open to ideas on what’s working and what needs a tune-up in our app. Our latest improvement was actually suggested by one of our clients.

Bar Code Scanner is now FOCUSED

Scanning is now more intuitive and easier to target. We’ve added a focused frame to scanner, narrowing down the area you need to focus on.

You no longer need to worry if you have a succession of serial/QR codes, scanner will only pick the one within the target box.

  • Currently in BETA and will be the default version of scanner. The old “full screen” version can be selected from the “scanner type” screen.

  • Screenshots show how each scanner type behaves and how to toggle between the focused and full screen modes.

The "focused" scanner mode is now on by default. However, you can switch back to the current "fullscreen" mode if you wish,
