The Essential Services Commission has announced new VEEC fees that will apply to all VIC Hot Water submissions

 

The fee will increase from $2.33 to $4.35 per certificate.

What does this mean for you?

From 1 January 2026, your margin for Hot Water jobs will automatically increase by $2 per certificate to reflect the regulator’s updated fee. Please factor this into any VEEC benefit you quote to customers.

The new fee will be applied to jobs submitted to us from 20 December 2025.
