The Essential Services Commission has announced new VEEC fees that will apply to all submissions from 1 January 2026.

 

The fee will increase from $2.33 to $4.35 per certificate.

What does this mean for you?

From 1 January 2026, your margin for AC jobs will automatically increase by $2 per certificate to reflect the regulator’s updated fee. Please factor this into any VEEC benefit you quote to customers.
