Barcode scanning just got better!
You told us that scanning extra wide or flat barcodes with some iPhone models was problematic. We have significantly improved the scanner detection making difficult to scan barcodes easier and faster to detect.
Update to version 1.2.75 to get reliable scanning of barcodes in any orientation or shape.
Our top tip for scanning flat barcodes: hold your device close to the barcode so it fills the scanner window.
Helpful reminders
To help you avoid returning to a site, or worse having to get back on a roof, to scan product serial numbers because the serial number photos submitted did not meet regulator requirements, we’ve now included an in-app reminder to scan serial number stickers on the product itself.
App layout improvements
You might notice after you update to the latest version that various buttons and text spacing looks slightly different. All your favourite features are still in the same place.
True touch signature experience
We’ve come so far in the journey to paper-free claims, but there’s something about drawing a squiggle signature that customers just love, and it’s quick too.
To help you feel like you are putting pen to paper, the Onsite signature capture is now more responsive to the firmness of your touch, allowing you to more easily control the mark you make.
Some iPhone users told us that signatures were being cut off. We’re fixed the issue so now you can be sure Onsite can easily capture signatures on any iPhone.

Water Heater Scan and Snap at the same time
We know how rushed it can get when you’re on the job, so we’re working on making the Onsite scanner work double-time for you as a photographer and barcode reader.
With water heater serial number barcode photo capture, Onsite will take a photo of the serial number barcode while you are scanning and upload it to Geo. Cutting out the hassle of collecting a separate serial number photo in the Photos list.
