SAA installer requirements effective 11th August 2025

The SAA’s transitional arrangements for solar battery and PV installations have ended, effective 10th August 2025.

 

From 11th August 2025, each accredited installer can sign off on a maximum of 2 installs per day.

This means that in one day, an installer can do up to:

  • 2 solar batteries, or

  • 2 solar PV systems, or

  • 1 solar battery + 1 solar PV system


    Please keep this in mind when scheduling and commissioning your jobs to avoid delays.
