VEEC certificate fee increase 1 Nov 2023

On November 1st 2023, the VEU will implement a significant certificate fee restructure, increasing from $1 per certificate on registration to $2.33 per certificate on creation.

Prioritise your water heating and commercial lighting installs

If you have multiple jobs in your pipeline, try prioritising the Water Heating and Commercial Lighting installs wherever possible. We'll do our best to process them as quickly as possible.

Water Heating

For Water Heating: To be eligible for the current rates, please submit your jobs before October 27th. Forms submitted after this date may be subject to additional VEU fees

commercial lighting

For Commercial Lighting: To be eligible for the current rates, please submit your jobs before October 21st. Forms submitted after this date may be subject to additional VEU fees.

When submitting your forms, make sure you double-check all details and allow time for any RFIs (Requests for Information) or potential issues to be resolved. The quality of the forms submitted directly affects the time taken from submission to creation, and it could determine whether the VEECs will incur the current VEU fee or the updated, increased VEU fee.
