From 9th March 2021, a photo will be saved and synced to the Geo assignment form for every serial number scanned in Geo Onsite.
The new Geo Onsite serial number photo feature does 3 things to help you collect serial numbers for the job and for future reference.
Automatically takes photos while you scan, without any extra steps.
Automatically prepares and uploads a complete ZIP file of the job serial number photos to the assignment in Geo HQ, saving time and hassle for installer and admin teams preparing paperwork.
Saves the serial number photos to a Geo Onsite album in the installer’s device photo gallery, so you can find them later, if you need to.
How do I get this feature?
Check you have the latest version of the app. That’s it!
Will this slow down the app?
No, photos are taken so quickly in the background as you normally scan serial numbers, you won’t notice any lag. We’ve worked hard to keep Geo Onsite performing as the super fast, reliable scanner that installers love!
What if the photo is blurry?
A warning appears giving the option to delete and retry or keep the photo.
