Solar VEECs

Eligible commercial solar projects in Victoria have the potential to generate secure solid return on investment within 24 months with Solar VEECs.

Recent changes in Victoria mean Commercial Solar projects in Victoria may be eligible for the Solar VEECs incentive as an alternative to LGCs.

STCs

If there is no existing solar on site, new Power Station projects can claim the first 100kW of STCs paid up-front and rolling pay-back on LGCs up to 2030.

Now your customer can go for that larger system because you can unlock an immediate discount with STCs and the cash-back with LGCs.

There are a few key requirements for an STC/LGC split Power Station. The total solar generation capacity on site must be commissioned in at least two separate systems in separate stages.

The system associated with the LGCs must not be 'switched on' until the STCs have been approved through our platform. And, the two systems (for the STCs and LGCs) must not be electrically connected.

  • We will tailor a fixed price offer to suit the Power Station Owner so they avoid risk and have confidence to go-ahead with government incentives built into their commercial solar business case.

    When the fixed term ends, we will make an offer for a new fixed term arrangement or roll on to variable price arrangement.

  • If the Power Station owner is looking to maximise financial returns and is willing to play the market, our variable price offer is a winner.

    Our creation fee offer is set for the term of our service. No retainers, no set-up costs, just a set per certificate creation fee.

  • Adele Maguire

    VICTORIAN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

    Adele joined the company in 2019 as a Customer Service Officer in the Operations Team, the engine room of the company. Just eight months later she joined the Marketing Team as a Business Development Manager, where she engaged more formally with our clients. Adele completed two secondment roles as Marketing Manager and Client Services Manager – Solar, during 2021-2022. Adele currently manages the business development for Victoria, actively selling our services for all activities which we are involved with.

    OPERATIONS MANAGER - SOLAR

    Owen has been involved in STCs and LGCs for over 8 years. He was instrumental in the development of GET’s Power Stations portfolio (which now consists of over 400 sites) and is an expert in large scale and commercial solar accreditations.
