Help us to pay you: Follow the VEU Code of Conduct

The way you interact with customers defines whether we can pay you

But don't worry, The Victorian Energy Upgrades program created a Code of Conduct to guide you through this. It helps you understand what to do when dealing with your customers.

Understanding Your Responsibilities

As a scheme participant, you must familiarise yourself with the latest fact sheets:

These documents detail your obligations under the VEU program and highlight that failure to meet them can result in surrendering VEECs and having an accreditation suspended or cancelled.

Please share these fact sheets within your company and with anyone else who helps with installations, lead generation, or marketing for your business. The Code of Conduct must be adhered to by all third-parties engaged by scheme participants.

Please also note that lead generation via telemarketing is under-consultation to be banned under the VEU from May 1 and door knocking from August 1.

We're here to make sure you get paid

As a part of this process, we need you to understand and follow the latest code of conduct and comply with relevant laws when dealing with your customer.

If you have any questions about the code of conduct or the fact sheets, please reach out and we'll find the answers for you.
