The deadline to certify your Solar PV Modules is coming up

08 Dec 2016
by Green Energy Trading

31 December 2016 is the deadline for more than 2000 PV modules to be certified and have their relisting application submitted to the Clean Energy Council.

Manufacturers who fail to demonstrate compliance with the 2011 and 2013 amendments to the international standard IEC 61730 will see their products removed from the CEC Approved Product List.

We encourage you to visit CEC Approved Product List to determine whether the listing for any of your stock is set to expire on 31 December 2016.

If you do have affected stock, we recommend you contact your supplier and encourage them to relist as soon as possible, or install those panels before the end of the year to avoid losing out on the STCs.

The Clean Energy Council have advised that applications for relisting can take up to four weeks to process. STC claims for affected stock may be delayed until the PV module is relisted in the New Year.
