Ric Brazzale – BComm, MBA
Ric Brazzale is the Managing Director of Green Energy Trading.
Prior to establishing Green Energy Trading in 2007, Ric was the Executive Director of the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE, now CEC) and participated on the Governments' initial REC Advisory Committee.
With more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, Ric is one of the leading advocates for renewable and energy efficiency in Australia.
Luke Konynenburg – Grad Cert (CorpRes), MBA
Luke joined Green Energy Trading in 2012 as General Manager.
As General Manager, Luke uses his extensive management experience and broad education to help his team deliver the industry's best business development support.
His passion for business and corporate responsibility has recently seen Luke appointed to the board of the Australasian Business Ethics Network.
Director-Analysis and Advisory
Tristan Edis has recently joined the team as Director-Analysis and Advisory or our sister company Green Energy Markets.
Tristan has 13 years’ experience analysing energy and climate change policy issues and the associated markets, industries and technologies. He is one of Australia’s most prominent expert commentators on the renewable energy industry and climate change mitigation policy.
Prior to joining the team in 2016, Tristan’s vast experience coupled with writing and editing one of Australia’s most read and popular Environmental publications, Climate Spectator, he will ensure the work done by our Markets team continues to provide the renewable industry’s best reporting, analysis and publications.
Nick Butler – BA (Media & Comms), MBus (Mgt)
Sales and Marketing Manager
Nick joined Green Energy Trading in 2013 following 3 years with ANZ’s corporate lending services department where, as assistant manager, he worked closely with clients to support their transition to more sustainable business models.
Customer service, team leadership and financial analysis are key skills that continue to serve Nick well in his role managing the Sales and Marketing team.
Nick completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, followed by a Master’s Degree in Business Management as part of his ongoing professional development.
Caroline Robertson – M MechEng
Energy Efficiency Manager
Caroline joined Green Energy Trading in 2011 and has been pivotal in expanding the range of energy efficiency activities supported by Green Energy Trading.
Prior to settling in Australia, Caroline completed her Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College, London. She specialised in renewable energy and low cost development technologies, and her thesis was based on bio-fuel production in Sierra Leone.
Caroline’s role focuses on new business opportunities within the energy efficiency sector and she has completed extensive analysis of the energy efficiency markets. Most recently Caroline has taken responsibility for sister company Green Energy Market’s publications on energy efficiency.
Emily Dewan – BA
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Manager
As Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Manager, Emily supports staff and stakeholders to successfully manage changes and compliance with renewable energy and energy efficiency schemes. Her focus is on quality assurance and integrity so that energy savings schemes continue to create sustainable business opportunities.
Before joining Green Energy Trading in 2009, Emily completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on strategy and policy development.
Commercial Projects Coordinator
Spencer joined Green Energy Trading in December 2011 after several years in the energy retail sector working as a metering specialist, business analyst and trainer.
As Commercial Projects Coordinator, Spencer manages our customers commercial lighting projects and the commercial finance arm of Green Energy Trading.
Dexter Tan – BAcc, MM, CPA
Finance and Accounts Manager
Dexter joined Green Energy Trading in 2009 as Accounts Payable Officer before moving to his current role in 2011 to oversee the finance, accounting, and trade settlements functions.
Prior to working at Green Energy Trading, Dexter spent more than seven years as Chief Accountant of the Tristar Group of Companies, a major exporter of agricultural products.
He is a Certified Practicing Accountant and holds a Masters degree in Management.
Tom O'Hanlon – Dip BM, Dip CM
As Trade Manager, Tom oversees the environmental certificate trading activities of Green Energy Trading. He also oversees business development, contracts, and pricing for power stations in the LRET.
Tom joined Green Energy Trading in 2009 and has worked in a variety of roles, most recently as Operations Manager.
Tom has extensive experience in the recruitment and banking sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Alison Middleton – Adv Dip Hotel Management
Alison joined Green Energy Trading in 2009 as Office Manager.
Prior to her role at Green Energy Trading, Alison spent many years working in the hospitality industry in Melbourne, Hobart and London. Alison then accepted roles at Aconex and Link Recruitment to focus on office management and administration.
Alison is now responsible for the smooth running of the Green Energy Trading office and the coordination of the company’s Corporate Responsibility and Health & Wellbeing programs.
David joined the Green Energy Trading team in 2011 as IT Manager.
Previously, David applied his expertise in the cutting-edge film industry working for Digital Pictures, a role which reignited his passion for development. David then enjoyed a couple of years in the consulting field focusing on software and development.
As IT Manager, David brings more than ten years’ experience working across all facets of IT, enabling him to build end-to-end solutions.
